Overview

Within Vivantio there are many ways to Extract data from the system via Searching right the way through to our Report Builder.

We often get asked if we have reports available to enable the extract of certain data, Reports are not always needed and you may be able to extract the information you require in a much easier way.

This Article is designed to show the difficulty level of each of the different options as well as the Pro's and Con's of each. All areas can be restricted by the Users Roles and Permissions. If you don't have access to one of the options you are looking to use then please speak to one of your internal Admin users who will be able to enable the option for you.

Search	Using the Search option allows you to quickly find Ticket data based on your Search Criteria. Queues & Tabs	Build Queues or Tabs to Filter the Data to give consistent results based on the Criteria. Dashboards & Charts	Configure Dashboards to show a Graphical view of Ticket information. You can drill into the Charts and view the lists of information. ISC Export	Using the Integration Service Component (ISC) you can connect to your Vivantio Database and extract the data directly from the tables to your own SQL Database and use your own Reporting Tools.
