Overview
The Custom Dashboard provides the flexibility to create tailored Dashboards based on the main system areas of Vivantio. The Incident Dashboards come as standard with Vivantio, these are editable and are contained within the Activity and Performance tabs, the pre-populated Charts contain data for example purposes, however, Custom Dashboards can be created based on the other system areas. The Vivantio dynamic Dashboard is the Default Vivantio landing page and provides a graphical overview of current team activity and performance.
Navigate to the Admin Area > Reporting > Dashboards > Charts
To create a new Dashboard, the first step is to create the Chart. Within the Chart screen, a Chart Name can be entered. The ability to select Chart Options such as the type of chart required e.g Bar Chart, Pie Chart; if a Legend is required (this is beneficial for charts which contain more than one Series). A Series is the information contained within the chart such as Open Incidents. A Chart Category and Sort Order can also be selected. Colors chosen from a color chart can be applied to the Category and Series to easily identify them in the Chart and provide an attractive look and feel. Finally, a date selector can be applied to indicate the dates are based on Open, Closed, Last Modified etc.
Further configuration can be applied using the Expression Builder in Chart Data; here logic can be created for the Chart based on the Ticket, Caller, Location and Client. Secondary fields can then be selected to build the logic for your Chart. For example, A Client which equals <insert Client Name> can be specified for the chart which will only pull through the data for the client entered.
It is possible to create a dashboard chart which includes all types of ticket.
You can set the total item count appended to the title of a dashboard chart.
