Overview

The Vivantio Report Catalog is the area of Vivantio where you can find new sample reports. Each report can be previewed with your own data before being imported into your Vivantio instance, where you can:

• Customize it in the Vivantio Report Builder
• Schedule it to be sent out via email on a recurring basis
• Publish it to your Self Service Portal

How to access the Report Catalog

Access to the Report Catalog is controlled by Roles and Permissions. To enable it for a given role:

• Log in to Vivantio as an Admin user
• Navigate to Admin > Reporting > Reports > Access Control
• Select the Role you would like to grant access to, and click 'Edit'
• Check the 'View Report Catalog' box
  

Users in that role will now have access to the Report Catalog from the Main Menu: 

How to use the Report Catalog

When you click the Report Catalog menu item, you'll be taken to the Report Catalog home page, where you can see all the reports available in the catalog. Much like in your Vivantio instance, reports are broken down into folders. When you select a folder on the left, you'll see the reports available in that folder:

For each report, you have the option to Preview the report - this will run the report with a sample of 100 records from your Vivantio instance:

Then - if you like the report! - you can import it to your Vivantio instance:

Once imported, the report is available to you in the same way your other reports are - including the ability to edit it in the Report Builder.
