Overview

Outgoing email describes those emails that are generated from within Vivantio and sent out, typically to Callers and Users. It is possible to configure outgoing emails so that they have a ‘from field’ that appears from the mailbox that is subject to the Email to Ticket Service.

This can present difficulties as the receiving email system may be able to determine that the ‘from field’ has been spoofed and block the email. To work around this issue it may be necessary for a customer to configure the Vivantio server as an authorized sender. Alternatively there is a facility within Vivantio whereby the email is sent via the customer’s own SMTP server.

Outgoing Deny List - You have the option to Deny outgoing emails if this is a requirement.
Emails needs to be specific emails and at present you cannot Deny whole domains from Outgoing Emails.
When you add an email address to the Outgoing Deny List it means that they would be rejected.
