Overview
The Admin area is very intuitive, Vivantio has been designed to put the configuration in your hands, you don’t need any technical expertise; you can enable and disable the different system areas and the features within them.
The Global Settings Features tab provides system configuration decisions, which determine how Vivantio will be used. Important strategic decisions made here will configure the look and feel of Vivantio; however, it is important to remember that if a feature is turned off here, it can be turned back on at any time using the simple tick box options.

Guidance
Navigate to the Admin Area > Setup > Global Settings > Features
Details on global configuration of your system
Admin Email Address: Important automated emails about system status will be sent to this address
Go here on login: this gives the ability to set the default page viewed on first login to a specific Home / Ticket queue or Dashboard. Click in the text box and a menu will appear displaying the available queues / Dashboards; choose one from the list and click save – this will only affect where the user is redirected on first login; if they have previously logged into Vivantio and have cookies enabled, and have an active Vivantio history cookie, they will be redirected to the last viewed page as normal.
Remember last page: If a user has logged in before, tick the box to be taken to the last page that the user was logged into in Vivantio, instead of the Go here on login option if it has been selected.
System Time Zone: Select your timezone from the drop-down menu.
System Culture: This value is used when running a scheduled report that doesn’t have a default culture specified.
Local Configurable Features
Enable and Disable system areas with a tick box selection. System features can be easily turned on or off here and will not be visible in the Operational area if they are disabled.
Please Note: Please consider the implications of turning the Clients area on or off once live; features such as Active Directory and Reporting will require amending or re-creation. It is strongly advised to discuss the client area with your Vivantio Consultant before making amendments to this feature.
System Features
These options are controlled by Vivantio and therefore, a Support ticket would need to be raised if you want one of these features enabled / disabled following your initial implementation of Vivantio.

If you want any of these functions enabled then please contact us to discuss upgrading your subscription.
