Overview

You can create Themes for Articles to ensure they have a consistent look and feel. Each theme has a HTML header and footer, and a CSS stylesheet which is locally configurable.

Navigate to the Admin Area > System Areas > Article > Configuration > Themes

Guidance

- Click Add

- Specify the HTML content to be used as the Header & Footer

- Specify the CSS to be used for styling

- Click Save

To edit a Theme:

- Highlight the Theme you wish to edit

- Click Edit

- Make the amendments

- Click Save

To Delete a Theme:

- Highlight the Theme you wish to Delete

- Click Delete

- Confirm the action

Please Note: Email Template style syntax can be used within the Header and Footer to reference properties available on the Article being displayed.

When one or more Themes have been created, either add a new Article using a Theme, or update an existing Article using a Theme. When viewing an Article, the Header, Footer, and CSS will be applied.

Please be aware that when viewing an Article within Self Service, conflicting styles defined for Self Service may apply to the Article and alter the appearance.
